Peace Out is the third segment of the twenty-second episode of the television show Pucca. It first aired on April 9, 2007.

Synopsis[]

Ssoso tries to teach a stressed out Abyo the meaning of "inner peace.”

Plot[]

The day starts out very roughly for Abyo, being beaten by his Kung Fu alarm clock and then having his father drink the last of the milk. Things don’t get much better as he’s pestered by butterflies, has doors smack him, and ends up with noodles dumped on him. Ching and Pucca, worried about their friend’s extreme tenseness, take him to see Ssoso in his Peace-Out Palace. The young monk is confident that Abyo’s agitation can be cured and, leaving the girls to wait in the lobby, takes Abyo inside.

He begins by showing him a calming movie, but Santa is in the theatre as well, eating popcorn. The noise aggravates Abyo until he snaps, beating the jolly man and chucking him through the screen. Ssoso remains calm about the damage and decides they must move on. Ssoso has Abyo enter a tank with two dolphins hoping their “wonder” can bring him peace. However, their antics annoy the young fighter and when he insults them, a fight begins which cracks the tank and floods Ssoso’s palace.

As a last resort, Ssoso shows Abyo his most extreme treatment: the Room of Ultimate Nothingness which is literally a white room of empty space in which he locks Abyo. The boy is uncomfortable with the emptiness and tries to take out his anger on something, but has nothing present which only makes him more stressed.

Outside, Ssoso is escorting Ching and Pucca to the room, certain that Abyo has found his inner peace, only to have the fighter suddenly crash down from the ceiling above them in a wild fit. He takes out his aggravation through brute physical strength, destroying everything in sight and sending the others running for cover. Eventually, the entire palace collapses on top of the children and while everyone has come out all right, Abyo feels much better, having been able to work out his issues cathartically. Ssoso, on the other hand, is outraged by the destruction wrought on his building and begins throwing things around as well. Abyo encourages his behavior as it will help him with his anger, but then must flee as Ssoso turns his new aggressive approach on the fighter.
