The Hai-Tais are lion stone statues that sit outside of the Goh-Rong Restaurant. While they are not real animals, they are capable of moving, talking, and expression, as seen in a few episodes. They tend to reflect when they see various things happen, like laughing at Garu when he has to distract Pucca on her birthday. Even one expressed surprise or disbelief hearing Tobe's plan to ambush Garu. They also have a soft spot for Pucca, getting visibly upset when she cries.

In Netflix's Pucca: Love Recipe, they are still seen outside the Goh-Rong, but unlike the previous seasons, they do not have any consciousness.
